Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of medications, and providing excellent care to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
• Carefully review prescriptions to confirm completeness and accuracy, ensuring the right medications are provided to patients.
• Input client and prescription details into the system with precision to ensure proper documentation.
• Support pharmacists in accurate preparation, packaging, and labeling of medications to meet the needs of patients.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory by regularly checking stock levels, restocking shelves, and organizing products for easy access.
• Assist in preparing specialized compounded products such as oral solutions, creams, and ointments, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with processing medical billing and insurance claims, helping to ensure patients have their prescriptions covered.
• Provide timely assistance to customers, offering answers to questions and helping with product selection.
Job Requirements:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is an asset but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare, retail, or pharmacy setting is a bonus, but not necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of work.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, inventory management, and prescription processing is preferred.
Languages: English
