Job Description:

The company distributes products to their partners around the world — in the USA, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, from the company’s high-end manufacturing facilities located in Toronto, Canada. Their exceptional engineering, production capability, product freezing & on-site frozen warehousing provide superior consistency and quality.
Upper Crust is looking to hire a Drafting Clerk who will assist our internal engineering team in optimizing the refit of our manufacturing plant.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with a team of engineers and industrial designers
• Liaise with the project team to implement necessary drafting requirements
• Develop and prepare technical engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, or layouts from sketches
• Operate computer-assisted drafting equipment or a drafting station
• Participate in ongoing projects to improve the manufacturing plant
Requirements of Position:
• High school diploma
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Strong time and resource management, and planning skills
• Completion of a college program in drafting is an asset
Compensation & Conditions:
• $29.30-31 per hour for 30-40 hours per week
• Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
