Job duties included Advising Engineering contractor on Motiva standards and review and commenting all IFR drawings and recommended strategies to address any issues. Advise contractors on Motiva safety and construction practices. Review and sign all labor, material and equipment reports Complete off-site vendor surveillances.

E & I CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST (2018-2019)
Hamilton County Solar Project: The solar project consisted of installing 330,300 solar panels, 13 inverters and a sub-station to provide 79MW of power to the grid.
Job duty’s included Advising contractor on construction/quality issues, installation walk downs as well as commissioning activity’s
Power Crystal River Power Plant Project: The plant will include two identical power blocks, each capable of producing 820MW of power. Equipment four Mitsubishi Model 501GAC combustible turbine generators, Four VOGT heat recover steam generators, which were equipped with duct burners, and Two Mitsubishi steam turbine generators in a two-on-one configuration as well as Two 1,500kW diesel-fired emergency generators

Project: Imperial Oil Kearl Lake Fine Tailings Treatment Project. (Project consisted of new 72,13.8 kV power line, a fiber optic loop, 2 thickener vessels,10 Pipe rack modules, 13 Pump houses, 2 Flocculent systems , 10 electrical houses, 10 sub-stations , 2 water barges and 2 dredges)

Engineering Office:
Review engineering deliverables for technical and constructability issues. Align with project team to resolve project technical problems and constructability issues. Attend 3D model reviews, identifying clashes for all disciplines. Monitor project execution plan. Liaise with the completions and commissioning team leads to identify areas of construction that were at risk of meeting the expected MC dates. Review Material Take Offs and Equipment/ Material Requisitions related to project scope. Review of the technical proposals and provide evaluation / recommendations.

Site:
Support Construction Managers with planning and coordination requirements. Ensure full implementation of safety procedures and requirements. Oversee E & I construction contractor interpretations of CEC engineering specifications. Keep open communication channels with stake holders to ensure smooth workflow. Assist in Brown field planning/permitting for electrical, control and fiber optic scopes. Project: Syncrude Aurora Mine Relocation (Project consisted of dismantling two mine trains, relocating to a new site, reassembly of the trains, plus new construction of an electrical house, pump house and (5) 72kV sub stations and 72kV power line, a fiber optic loop and site demolition)

Collaborated with Construction Managers on construction planning and coordination requirements.
Ensured full implementation of safety procedures and requirements. Advised E & I contractor on job cards, method statements and job hazard analyses. Collaborated with engineers on design changes and RFI’s to insure all construction requirements were met. Monitored field progress and compared with project controls for confirmation of actuals. Oversaw E & I Construction specialists in the interpretation of the CEC, engineering specifications and relocation expectations. Managed punch-listing, clearing and closure of M & E. Participated in all tri-party Mechanical completion walk downs. Reviewed and approved all contractor LEMs.

Collaborated with operations to assist with commissioning of the facility. Assisted in developing completions turn over system for final turn over to operations. Advised the commissioning team on all activates.

 Collaborated with the module vender to deliver deficiency-free modules for shipping to site.
