Job Description:
BLS is training models that predict how well someone will perform on a job better than a human can. Similar to how a human would review a resume, conduct an interview, and decide who to hire, we automate all of those processes with LLMs. Our technology is so effective it’s used by all of the top 5 AI labs.
We crossed a $100M revenue run rate and have averaged 59onth over month growth for the last 6 months, making us the fastest growing company in the world. The team is small and we remain extremely profitable because we can’t hire great people as fast as revenue is growing.
About the Role
As a Platform Software Engineer at BLS, you'll play a crucial role in helping us by building platforms that will scale the technology to create a billion jobs.
Members of our technical staff are responsible for the reliability of the BLS systems, this particular role is a more specialized role for an individual that excels in their ability to anticipate and solve storage problems with an emphasis on RDBMS and Document Stores. The expectation is that this person will be responsible for the scaling and reliability needs of the databases, in addition the ideal can be a strong advocate internally for best practices.
Compensation
Base cash comp from $185-$300K
Performance bonuses up to 40f base comp
$10k referral bonuses available

Job Requirements:
What Are We Looking For?
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science
Fluency in Python, Go, Terraform
Experience designing schemas for SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience scaling, optimizing databases through indexing, partitioning and sharding
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
