Job Description:
Job Title: Entry-Level IT Technician – Data Center
Responsibilities:
Assist with basic hardware changes like memory upgrades and operating system (OS) reinstalls by following standard procedures.
Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor or team lead.
Follow safety guidelines, attend daily safety meetings, and use equipment properly.
Work as part of a team—communicate clearly, ask questions when unsure, and support your coworkers.
Keep others informed about your work to avoid delays or issues.
Complete assigned tasks and tickets on time, meeting basic quality and performance standards.
Take responsibility for your work and help keep the data center organized and running smoothly.
Learn about the company’s systems and how your work affects the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
Interest in IT and willingness to learn about server hardware and data center operations.
Basic understanding of computers, hardware components, and operating systems.
Familiar with Windows or Linux operating systems (training can be provided).
Willing to learn troubleshooting techniques and follow written instructions.
Comfortable working with a team and also independently.
Able to follow safety rules and handle tools/equipment properly.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
