Job Description:
Will be a full-stack software engineer working on web applications, supporting, and building new features on app frontends (React/NextJS), backends (Python/Flask), databases (Postgres
and BigQuery), and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes); will build major new features end-to-end, from collecting requirements and doing engineering design to writing code,
as well as working closely with the retail energy team and data science and ML teams to build these features; will work on general improvements to the web platform and overall
infrastructure which involves improvements to testing, CI/CD, data pipelines, and type checking; will be working on building workflows and tools for clean energy retail business critical for
supporting the ability to sell energy contracts; will involve full-stack feature development, vendor integrations through REST APIs, and building tooling which uses the company’s ML
forecasts; will involve working closely with the retail energy team to figure out the proper requirements; will work on customer-facing web app features for customers to do things like better
understand their clean energy usage, which involves full-stack work in creating and improving dashboards and charts (built in React) and involves integrating new sources of electric meter
data on the backend; will also be working on new functionality around alerting and monitoring, which involves building Kubernetes microservices and connecting to monitoring and email
sending services; will work on building internal analytics tools to analyze data about customer energy usage which involves building new full-stack features, automating data ingestion, and
working with data scientists to figure out requirements.
Job Requirements:
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER ENGINEERING, OR RELATED FIELD PLUS THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
