Job Description:
Sarb Sandhu is seeking a compassionate and responsible Home Support Worker to assist his 24-year-old son, who is living with a disability, in his daily routine and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist client with daily personal care: moving from bed to washroom, bathing, dressing, and undressing
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, including special dietary requirements
Assist in feeding as needed
Support with daily exercises as instructed by a healthcare professional
Accompany to medical appointments
Ensure client is not left unattended due to safety concerns
Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishwashing, bed-making, and general tidying etc.
Qualifications:
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Not required; training can be provided
Certifications: Valid CPR and First Aid certification required
Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
