Wage: $29.50 per hour for 40 hours per week
Job Description
BMG Auto Repair Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mechanic Helper to support our team in the day-to-day operations of the auto repair shop. The ideal candidate will assist tradespersons and contribute to the safe and efficient functioning of the workshop.
Responsibilities:
• Move tools, equipment, and other materials to designated areas to assist mechanics and technicians with their tasks.
• Hold stakes or markers during basic surveying activities to aid in measuring and alignment processes.
• Signal safety procedures clearly to other workers and to the general public to help maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other staff by performing routine support duties as directed, such as preparing tools, holding parts, or setting up work areas.
• Clean machines, tools, and immediate work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience is an asset
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
