Job Description:
At WashBistro, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance and repair of industrial laundry equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The supervisor also manages inventory for spare parts and collaborates with other departments to support efficient operations.

Overview

Job Duties:
- Oversee and schedule the activities of maintenance personnel responsible for the repair and upkeep of industrial laundry machinery and related equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues promptly and coordinate necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Requisition and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies essential for maintenance operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories; prepare reports as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
