Job Description:
KET USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to manage and lead the quality activities within our company. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control, as well as overseeing the overall operations of the Quality Department.
The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in driving quality initiatives, managing quality-related personnel, and ensuring continuous improvements in our manufacturing processes.
- Establish and implement departmental objectives, policies, and standards.
- Review budget proposals and approve fund allocations for quality-related projects.
- Lead daily team meetings to review reports and assign tasks to subordinate employees.
- Establish, modify, and direct the implementation of quality control procedures and systems.
- Ensure that quality management goals are effectively implemented and achieved.
- Review quality data and cost analyses submitted by the team, ensuring no errors or defects in products before shipment.
- Oversee subordinate employees in identifying and resolving quality issues during the manufacturing process.
- Prepare for and manage customer audits regarding quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in materials, customer preferences, and engineering technologies to ensure top-quality products.
- Establish in-line inspection processes, and select appropriate testing and inspection equipment based on team reports.
- Direct subordinates to identify vulnerable process steps and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adequate process flow, considering personnel, equipment, and process queue times.
- Oversee reverse engineering processes, establish sampling procedures, and manage post-production inspections.
- Ensure testing and inspection equipment operates within specified accuracy, adhering to setup sheet standards.
- Review employee performance reports and assess individual performance.
- Make recommendations and decisions regarding hiring, firing, promotions, disciplinary actions, salary adjustments, bonuses, and leave approvals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in quality control and management, with a focus on manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and process improvement techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and identify quality issues effectively.
- Experience with quality audits and working with customer specifications.
