Job Duties:

• Welding repairs on structural steel components and maintenance repairs to material handling equipment
• Fabricate steel conveyors and material handling equipment etc
• Check equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Demonstrate leadership skills in daily work interaction
• Review and follow detailed instructions and schematics for installation of products.
• Work as part of the installation team in the shop and field
• Ensure all installations completed in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations and project time estimates.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Weld, fit, cut, grind and finish steel and aluminum.
• Rig, hoist and bolt up complicated steel and aluminum assemblies from heights.
• May operate heavy machinery such as Tele-handler, Forklift, Scissor Lift/Man lift.

• Amount of Travel Required: 25%
• Able to visually identify, with or without the use of vision correcting lenses, materials and workplace hazards, and direct workers to perform their tasks safely.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Steel toed shoes, safety glasses, cut gloves, aprons, hearing protection, and dust masks.
• Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.


Work Environment
• Commercial/Industrial on site.
• Shop fabrication.
• Regularly required to work weekends, over time hours, and emergency hours.

Experience Required:
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Education Required:
• Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Wage & Hours: $34.07/h
• Number of hours per day: 8
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 40
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 8 hours, Statutory Holidays and Weekends
• Shift rotation: 8-10-12 hour shifts.
