Job Description:
¡ñ Prepare and submit tax filings, workers' compensation forms, pension contributions, and other government documents.
¡ñ Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports to assist daycare management in making informed decisions regarding budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
¡ñ Prepare and file tax returns for the daycare, as well as manage any additional bookkeeping services related daycare finances.
¡ñ Record daily journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, update general ledgers, and generate financial statements to support the daycare's financial management.
¡ñ Calculate and process payroll for daycare staff, ensuring timely payment and compliance with relevant labor laws, as well as managing payments for utilities, supplies, and other operational expenses.
¡ñ Maintain accurate financial records and manage, balance, and reconcile various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Job Requirements:
¡ñ Completion of secondary school is required.
¡ñ A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or related subjects is preferred.
¡ñ Working experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is required.
¡ñ Proficiency in computer skills and MS software suit.
¡ñ High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
¡ñ Strong understanding of accounting principles.
¡ñ Capable of handling diverse responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-moving setting.
¡ñ Highly organized and capable of analytical thinking.
