Job title: Bookkeeper (Noc 12200)
Work Location: 1621 Topsail Rd, Paradise, NL A1L 1R1
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 30 hours/week
Wage: $19.00/hour
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.
Nature: Full-time permanent.

Job duties
Ensure the accuracy of financial records and oversee various account balances.
Record journal entries and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable.
Manage payroll processing, T4 forms, and the issuance of expenditure-related cheques.
Prepare financial statements and compile trial balances.
Handle tax remittance forms and other necessary government paperwork.
Generate essential statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is an asset.
A year of experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is required.
Experienced in computers, like Microsoft office, is an asset.
Strong organizational skills, attention to details.
