REMOTE WORK FROM HOME AVAILABLE
Seeking experience designing controls systems and related components for custom built-to-order Machine Tools & Machining Centers.
Activities:
*** Determine customer and machine performance requirements with design team.
*** Design prototype controls architecture to control PLCs, IO interfaces such as HMIs, optical sensors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromagnetic actuators, linear or rotary motors, servos, etc.
*** Research, evaluate, select, source, and order hardware components for controllers, interfaces, power distribution systems, attachments, control mounts, etc.
*** Prototype, program, test, debug, and install controllers.
*** Design, test, connect, and commission network communications applications that talk to machine controllers.
Requires experience designing machine controls for customized machinery in a made-to-order manufacturing environment. Must have advanced knowledge of electrical power components, drives, servo motors, sensors, cameras, relays, pushbuttons, etc.
