PBNJ Consulting was founded with the sole objective of bringing top quality, professional and reliable IT services, computer support and web solutions to businesses in the GTA. In addition, we offer application and web development to those same organizations that also require web presence to reach out to their customers, or need a customized application for their internal operations.

At this time, PBNJ Consulting is looking for skilled and qualified User Support Technicians who want to further their career in the tech industry. Technicians are required to provide technical assistance to clients who are having issues with their computer hardware, software, or communications. Responsibilities include consulting user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions. Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties. Collect, organize and maintain problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts. Participate in redesign of applications and other software. Provide business systems, network and internet support to users in response to identified challenges. Set up equipment for clients, employees and ensure proper installation of cables, operating systems or appropriate software.

Salary- $34.07 hourly / 37.5 hours per Week

Responsibilities/ Tasks
Give access to computer networks
Report on the performance of computer systems and networks
Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer
Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Provide customer service
