Job Description:
Job title: NOC 44100 Babysitting Caregiver
Location: Thornhill, Ontario
Salary: $20 per hour / 35 hours per week
Terms of employment: Full-Time Contract

Main Duties:
Care for and supervise one child in the employer's residence.
Feed, bathe, dress, and ensure the child’s daily hygiene.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the child and perform light housekeeping.
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities to support learning and development.
Maintain a safe and clean environment in the home.
Escort the child to and from activities or appointments as needed.
Support the child’s emotional well-being and social development.
Job Requirements:
1. Education:
College or Undergraduate certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, related to Caregiver.
2. Experience:
At least one year of experience caring for babies under the age of 2.
3. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and physically demanding activities (e.g., bending, crouching, kneeling).
4. Personal Suitability:
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Skilled in cooking for both adults and baby’s solid food needs.
Flexible with work hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Vaughan, ON before starting work.
Must not have allergies to cats, as there is a pet in the household.
Reliable, patient, and caring with a strong sense of responsibility.
5. Additional Requirements:
References and a non-criminal record are required.
