Job Description:
SRK Systems Inc. has an opening for the position of Database Developer.
Job Responsibilities:
Developing stored procedures/packages/functions, ERD analysis & design, code review and code refactor.
Maintain and support Oracle 11g/12C, PostgreSQL 9.6 database.
Developing logical and physical database schemas.
Implementations for the existing database systems to provide cross-platform functionality.
Development on ETL process to support data warehouse and DAOs for applications.
Running various database procedures/jobs,shell scripts and CRON jobs.
Performing error corrections for change requirement and modify the existing code for enhancement.
Performing DBA tasks DB object creation, backups, import/export on cross platforms and performance tuning
Providing users department level specified privileges and access to database and data.
Monitoring/Maintaining and troubleshooting the daily database refresh process.
List out the various risk mitigations strategies and creates a business suitable risk plan.
Communicate with developers, database administrators, project managers, Systems analysts and senior management about the issues that impact the project's success.
Weekly and Monthly RMAN Backup activities.
Identify and define database as per stakeholder needs.
Performs functional and regressive testing wheneveralter/modify the database architecture.
Perform to merging to existing and old database using DB tools.
Conduct performance and load test on regular basis to make sure the efficiency of database performance.

Educational Requirement: Bachelors or higher degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelors degree in one of the aforementioned subjects
