Job Description:
Metal One is a leader in the global metals industry, as a fully integrated steel trading and distribution company, known for its range of products, from structural and flat rolled to tubular, wire and bar. This role will require work with the Inside Sales team to provide customer service for sales of steel products. Review orders for steed products entry/entry proof monitor, review and analyze steel product sales progress by weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly, and whenever required, prepare weekly activities report. Help Procurement Managers to prepare monthly/quarterly activities report to GM. Report various claims from daily business transaction in timely and appropriate manner and provide necessary support to settle it without delay. Work with Sales Managers to cultivate new customer accounts. Follow and support Sales and Procurement Managers to achieve division target/budget. Support in setting annual/quarterly/monthly budget for the division. Support in implementing sales strategies to enhance company performance. Understand duties of Inside Sales. Manage inventory within approved period. Review and apply appropriate credit lines for applicable customers. Monitor A/R aging, inappropriate payments. Maintain professional relationships with Japanese customers and suppliers. Proficiency in Japanese language is not required to perform the duties of this role. This role will involve working with sales teams to sell different types of steel products.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in any field. Special skills - Coursework, internship or work experience in accounting, sales or business and experience working with Japanese companies. Occasional domestic travel required.
