Job Description:
1. Research, analysis and measurement of country specific business and market conditions and potentiality.
Measure the effectiveness of current operational management of the company and research import/export, customs clearance and shipping systems of countries into which H Mart intends to expand its business;
Gather and analyze data in country specific business climate such as customer preferences, market demands, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product/ service demand for Asian specialty food and kitchen equipment;
Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data;
Analyze Import & export market including country specific regulations and by country;
Research and evaluate potential sales expansion into global markets; and
Analyze potentials in national and international Asian specialty food and kitchen equipment market, particularly Japan; decide required resources, estimated costs, scope of the project and staffing requirement; and identify problems that may be encountered in pursing each particular opportunity in the new marketplace.
2. Documentation of findings
Document findings from the research and analysis and propose ways to improve management efficiency and maximize profits;
Provide information and data in writing to help the Company determine its positions in the marketplace;
Recommend the management job assignment and placement of staff into specific fields of regional branches; and
Report management of future projects potential risks.
3. Development of marketing strategies and business planning
Establish merchandising and product planning;
Develop business management strategies for international marketplace;
Develop and evaluate immediate & long-term business plans by region & by country; and
Develop effective marketing strategies based on locations.
4. Research and development of business expansion project into new States
With coordination of corporate marketing team, plan, develop and implement management system and wholesale networking distribution for business expansion project into new States; and
Confer with Korean and other Asian corporate clients doing business in the U.S., analyze their specific needs and expectation about Asian specialty food and kitchen equipment markets, and design systems and procedures to satisfy each clients needs reflecting the nations particular demands and need.
5. Coordination with other branches
Work closely and coordinate with management team of H Marts headquarters and each regional offices to provide top management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, and pricing of company products services; and
Engage in the weekly and monthly regional conferences.
Job Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's degree Business Administration, or related field of study.
