Job Description: Job Opportunity: Production Welder (MIG/GMAW) – Prototype/Fabrication/Manufacturing

As a key member of our production team, you'll play a crucial role in product development and manufacturing. Our diverse product lines encompass fabrications, detail assemblies, sheet metal stampings, and plastic injection moldings.
Role Overview:

Job Requirements:
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in material processing, including sheet metal layout, and working with various materials such as sheet metal, tubing, round stock, and square stock. - Competence in a range of fabrication techniques: sawing, grinding, shearing, notching, lancing, punching, plasma cutting, drilling, and threading. - Experience in press brake operation, encompassing setup and die/punch combination selection, as well as air bending techniques like flanging, hemming, and drawing. - Expertise in welding processes, particularly GMAW and GTAW, coupled with a deep understanding of quality management principles, including blue print reading, process routing, and inspection records.
Essential Knowledge:
- Proficient in blue print reading, drafting theory, and geometric dimensioning and tolerating (GD&T). - In-depth understanding of metallurgy and heat-treatment processing, as well as familiarity with AWS-ASTM standards, SAE fasteners, cutting fluids, cutting feeds and rates, and power fluids. - Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) and knowledge of tool and fixture design.

- A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Possess highly developed technical competencies and a keen adaptability to new concepts and techniques.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing. - Preferred: Certificate in Welding Technology or equivalent technical qualification.
Shift Timings:
Second Shift: 4 PM to 2 AM
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage offered, ranging from $21 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
