Job Description:
Specific Skills:
- Assess a material's suitability for welding.
- Use lifting and hoisting apparatus.
- Use previously configured welding equipment to create or fix metal goods and parts.
- Maintain and make small repairs to equipment used for soldering, brazing, and welding.
- Verify that the welds meet the standards and/or specifications by looking at them.
- Utilize manual or partially automated flame-cutting machinery.
- Use fully automated, semi-automated, or manual welding equipment.
- Straighten metal with a torch, braze, and fit.
- Use arc-air (oxygen arc cutting equipment) (AOC)
- Comprehend welding process requirements.
- Examine and comprehend welding process manuals, specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
- Run shears, brakes, and other equipment for bending, straightening, and shaping metal.
- Set-up and operate CNC machines
- Cut, shape and assemble ACM panels
- Travel to construction sites to install fabricated materials, ensuring quality and safety.
