Job Description:
Geotech Drilling Services Ltd. is looking for full time Driller Helper at 5052 Hartway Drive, Prince George, BC, V2K 5B7. There are 12 positions available.
Hours of work are an average of 42 hours per week. Workdays are up to 12 hours per day with overtime paid as per BC Labour Standards. Pay is $20/hour. Successful candidates must be able to communicate in English. There is no school requirement. Minimum work experience is 2 years of general labouring experience.

Job Requirements:
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Load and unload drilling materials and move materials to work areas.
• Handling drill rods, casing, core tubes and core samples.
• Loading/off-loading supplies.
• Handling tooling/consumables (sand, cement, bentonite).
• Assist in drilling for core samples at various construction and mining sites.
• Assist miners in excavating and in setting up and operating various drills and other surface mining machinery.
• Remove rubble and other debris at drilling sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
• Operate hand tools as directed.
• Clean up chemical spills, other contaminants and remove hazardous materials.
• Oil and grease drills, hydraulic support units and similar equipment.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Assisting the Driller, client and other team members where required
