Objective:
Please view the attached resume for consideration for positions where leadership experience and working knowledge of Lean Management, Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement are desired. In my role as Process Owner for Budco (Highland Park, MI), my responsibilities included the management and supervision of the Special Order Fulfillment department, which serviced clients such as Onstar, Jeep, Volkswagen, DaimlerChrysler, Audi and Disney Travel Trade. Within that time, I supervised the launch of the Carousel order picking system and inception of HRT scanner training and usage. My warehousing and logistics experience has also included Operations Group Leader for Akzo-Noble, Pontiac, MI. In that capacity, I was responsible for the accurate warehousing, shipping and documentation for the warehouse and shipping department. Most recently, as a Management Consultant, I have had the opportunity as a team associate and as a team leader to travel to various manufacturing and service facilities implementing process improvements resulting in productivity increases and annualized savings for companies such as:
DSM Pharmaceutical, Greenville, North Carolina; Bosch, Farmington Hills, MI; Ben Venue Pharmaceutical, Bedford, Ohio; Graham Packaging, Vandalia, Illinois; Archer Daniel Midland (ADM), Lincoln, Nebraska and Hatfield Quality Meats, Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
My experience as a results oriented Consultant has enabled me to quickly learn the key aspects of a company’s operation to identify opportunities for improvement. As an Operations Supervisor and as an Operations Lead, I consistently demonstrated strong leadership ability, autonomous decision-making and effective communication with clients, staff and upper management. My resume will reflect my experience has spanned from line worker to Senior Quality Control Inspector (General Plating); from Operations Leader (Akzo-Noble) to Operations Supervisor (Budco), to Instructor for the Detroit Public Schools. My work life, whether in a plant, shop or classroom, has entailed the teaching, coaching and development of others.
Although rewarding as well as challenging, my position as a Consultant required constant 100% travel for the duration of my employment, which has currently led me to seek a position that is as rewarding and challenging locally with a company that is committed to the principles of Lean Management, Continuous Improvement and employee development.
My career objective is to secure a Management/Supervisory position that will utilize my experience, skills and education for the betterment of a progressive company and it's employees. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my work ethic and commitment to delivering results could be of benefit to your company. Sincerely,

Coleman T. Johnson
