Skills:
Repair of closed loop cryogenic refrigeration systems
Repair, inspect and install components that make up the refrigeration system,Tasks included electrical wiring, testing according to ISO standards, leak checking, foaming, brazing, some TIG welding and the charging of units. Perform skilled specialized work in the analysis, service and design modification of all brands of ultralow temperature cryogenic refrigeration systems including cryotiger, PGCLs, gas chillers and direct defrost systems.
Construct and install ultralow temperature refrigeration systems and related apparatus from technical schematics, diagrams and blueprints.
Maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize down time of cryogenic refrigeration systems.
Analyze system problems
Determine cause of malfunction or system failure, Advise principal investigators of corrective action and carry out approved maintenance, repair or design modification in accordance with investigators,instructions and maintenance schedules.
Assist in training
Provide technical guidance and instruction to other workers in service and repair procedures.
Train customers on old and new units.
Training of new personnel on computer test system (Lab View)
