Experience: As Military Police Officer, I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 5-07 doing multiple security tasks aboard Camp Al Taqaddum. I have extensive experience with Crew Served Weapons and Combat Logistic Operations. I have a large, versatile background in Law Enforcement working Flight Line Security, a member of the Special Reaction Team, various PSD missions and Emergency Dispatch while aboard MCAS Miramar. My responsibilities, while in Iraq, include Turret gunner, utilizing all Crew Served Weapons, Driver, all over the Anbar Province and Interior Guard in the Tower’s on the perimeter of base. I have tremendous experience with Traffic Control Points, Vehicle/ Personnel Searches, Detainee Handling, checkpoints and all types of patrols. While stationed at Miramar as a Military Police I have worked with the Secret Service securing various buildings and gates prior to and during the arrival of the President of the United States. Completed Terrorism Counteraction/Self Protection Level 1, Marine Corps Institute consisting of instruction on how individual Marines can best protect themselves and their families in a terrorist environment. Giving guidance on what to expect and how to survive a terrorist situation.
