Objective: As companies are increasingly becoming the victim=s of fraud by having to pay false claims or losses do to theft, there is a growing need for trained professionals to investigate and ultimately provide the basis to deny these claims or prevent these thefts.
Through my twelve years of law enforcement experience(three years as a Detective Sergeant and three years in the Traffic Investigation Unit), I would like the opportunity, on a part-time basis, to provide your organization with invaluable assistance in identifying these fraudulent claims or thefts thus saving the organization large amounts of revenue.
I have completed by Masters Degree in Security Management and my Bachelor=s Degree in Criminal Justice with an additional Major in Political Science. Through my internship at Michigan State University, I also have extensive experience in investigating worker=s compensation clams.

Experience: Objective: A part-time Fraud Investigator position which will allow me to utilize my skills and experience to assist in safeguarding an organization from losses suffered do to fraudulent claims or thefts.
Experience: Police Department, Michigan October 94 - Present Detective Sergeant- Three years _ Supervising thirteen Detectives in both crimes against persons and crimes against property. _ Conducting and supervising the investigation of fraud crimes. _ Supervising the investigation of Serious Personal Injury and Property Damage accidents. _ Collaborating with other Law Enforcement jurisdictions in utilizing a team approach to identify and solve patterns of crime.
Uniform Patrol Sergeant- Two Years _ Supervised Twenty Five Road Patrol Officers. _ Conducted investigations related to allegations of internal misconduct. _ Coordinated with the Michigan State Police, Narcotics Unit and other agency=s in response to particular needs of service. _ Worked jointly with the community in developing proactive policing strategies. _ Supervised scenes involving major violent/property crimes and serious or fatal traffic crashes.
Traffic Enforcement and Accident Investigations Unit- Three Years _ Conducted hundreds of traffic crash investigations of both a minor and serious nature _ Assisted insurance adjustors with fraudulent traffic crash and vehicular theft claims _ Enforced both local and state traffic laws in the motorcycle division _ Assisted Accident Investigators in the processing of fatal traffic crash scenes
