Objective: I retired as a Sergeant from the Detroit Police Department in 2003. While there I manage and supervise patrol officers and special crimes investigators. I reviewed paperwork, crime patterns, patrol activities and I coordinated information and paper flow up and down the chain of command. For the last three years I have worked as a Realtor. I locate and list real estate for sale or rent. I have manage and listed bank foreclose properties. Those duties include finding contractors, reviewing bids, managing work sites and maintaining proper paper work flow. I can work independently, within a group or as a group leader or supervisor. I have an office setup in my home so that I can work inside or outside of my home.
Experience:
Sergeant Detroit Police Department in 14655 Dexter, Detroit, MI., 48238 February 1987 to December 2003 1987-Special Events-main responsibility were traffic enforcement and security for events in Downtown Detroit 1989-Ninth Precinct- uniform patrol, Officer of the Quarter on several occasions 1994-Youth Enforcement Unit (Gang Squad)-plain clothes, patrol areas where minors congregate and in force youth related ordinances 1995-Tactical Services Section-Patrol high crime areas, respond to high profile emergencies 1995-Promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the Ninth Precinct Supervise patrol activities 1996-Homicide-Investigate and process homicide crime scene up to and including arrest of sucpects 2001-Cold Case Squad-Officer in charge of unit. Coordinate investigative activities of squad. Unit closed 35 homicide cases in one year 2002-Sixth Precinct Patrol-Supervise patrol activities, review paperwork, crime patterns and coordinate information and paperwork up and down the chain of command 2003-Homicide-Executive squad leader-Supervise investigative activities 2003-Retired Realtor Goedert Real Estate in 1324 North Main Street March 2003 to October 2006 Locate and list real estate for sale or rent. Manage and list bank foreclose properties. Those duties are finding contractors, reviewing bids, work completed, making sure the properties remained in good condition and maintaining proper paperwork flow. I work independently from home where I have an office setup to handle all of my communications needs.
