Experience:
•SAP R/3 Post Implementation Support & Training in FI / CO / MM (Ensure system integrity, controls & strive for system improvements)
•Core team member in SAPpHiRe (SAP HR Module) upgrade.
•Responsible for the management, direction and operation of all accounting related activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll & General ledger.
•Deputize & Assist the Treasurer & Financial Controller in Treasury Operations & business process.
•Management Reporting.
•Risk & Internal Control management.
•Steering Committee member in Systems Improvement. (Electronic Invoicing, Systems Upgrade for $ 110 Million housing loans)
•Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX & Company Procedures.
•Liaisoning with Internal & External Auditors.
•Managing the entire Accounts & Finance operation at the plant.
•Working in completely integrated SAP R/3 and advanced usage of Spreadsheets, MS Word, power point & Lotus notes.
•Preparation/Analysis/ Presentation of MIS, budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, cost control, co-ordination & consolidation of monthly accounts & costing of new products & contribution analysis.
•Monthly closing of books, finalization of accounts in Indian GAAP & US GAAP & co-ordination with internal & statutory auditors.
•Monitoring of inventory through monthly stocktaking, Ageing/ ABC analysis & monthly follow up meetings & co-ordination with intra-departments. Debtors & creditors ageing / reconciliation with Marketing / Commercial Department.
•Core team member USD 6 Million Capex Project- preparation of budget, monitoring of expenditure, payment, auditing & capitalization in SAP
•Compliance with excise & sales tax regulations, timely filing of income tax & sale tax returns, insurance proposal & follow up for claims.
•Opening of Import & Export LC’s / negotiation of documents, bank guarantees, foreign remittance, & back office operations.
•Supervision of Payroll & ensuring statutory compliances.
•Core team member of SAP R3 implementation team.
•Full integration experience with FI, MM, SD & PP Modules.
•Study of existing process & preparation of scoping document– ASIS Study.
•Analysis & designing of blue print for the business process – TOBE study.
•Discussion on blueprint & process study for GAP analysis, suggest work arounds.
•Basic data creation, loading in development client, testing, data migration, user training & documentation.
•Configuration of FI / CO global settings & interfaces with other modules.
