Dispensing Supervisor
Supervising 10-15 union employees in the dispensing of raw materials in powder form. Following all company SOP’s regarding proper dispensing, cleaning and FDA approved documentation procedures, as well as implementing company policies in the matters of personnel code of conduct. Using working knowledge of GMP’s and CFR regulations pertaining to the dispensing department. Responsible for performing quality checks to ensure that operators are using correct material, which is identified by stock number, receiving number, product name and expiration dates to ensure products are used in correct order and quantity is weighed accordingly and properly recorded. Thorough review of batch records upon completion and responsible for transferring completed batches and batch records to manufacturing department. Data entry into computers inventory system upon completion of every batch, and physical inventory count quarterly. Following strict FDA and OSHA regulations, as well as working knowledge of GMP’s. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures throughout the company. Assemble, setup, inspect and clean several filling, labeling and shrinkwrap machines. Perform necessary line checks to verify quality of product and proper labeling and packaging of products.
