Objective: Highly motivated sales professional is looking to assist a company to increase sales and profit. I am a sales professional with over 80 million dollars worth of industrial equipment sold in my ten-year sales career. Experience: 10/2005 – 9/2006 IPETRONIK USA West Bloomfield/Michigan Sales Manager As Sales Manager for PETRONIK GmbH, I am responsible for the development of the United States operations. These responsibilities included the establishment of their first US office; evaluation, expansion, and maintenance of the customer database, closure of current and the development of future sales opportunities, development of the US marketing program including trade shows, telemarketing, and advertisements, management of support individuals; including housing for European support personal. Additional responsibilities included all financial matters, and inventory control for the IPETRONIK USA operations. I closed over one (1) million dollars worth of business, including the largest US order of over $800,000 to General Motors.
9/2004 – 9/2005 Negri Bossi USA Newark/Delaware Midwest Regional Sales Manager As a regional sales manager, I was responsible for the increase in machinery sales throughout the midwestern region of the United States. This territory requires travel in the following states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. Additional responsibilities also include; the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies; support of fifteen sales representatives in the Midwestern territory, direct sales responsibilities in the states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Texas.
3/2003 - 12/2003 HPM - A Division of Taylors Industrial Services Mt. Gilead/Ohio Accounts Manager - Michigan I was directly responsible for the top twenty custom injection molders located in Eastern Michigan. My responsibilities also included the development of all custom injection molders, plastic extrusion, and die cast manufactures in the State of Michigan where I closed the largest order in the three years that Taylors Industrial Services has owned HPM, worth 12.5 million dollars.
3/2002 - 3/2003; 12/2003 – 9/2004 PlastiMatix Farmington Hills/ Michigan Sales Engineer - Eastern Michigan As a manufacturer’s representative, I was responsible for the development of the customer base for the custom injection molding industry in Eastern Michigan. I called on over 300 custom injection molders from Detroit to Port Huron to Flint and down to the Ohio border. My primary focus was to sell injection machinery, extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment by distributing product literature and meeting customer needs with our existing product lines.
2/1994 - 3/2002 RLF Machinery Brighton/ Michigan Sales Representative As a manufacturers’ representative, I was responsible for the custom plastic injection molder customer development in Southeastern Michigan. My primary responsibility was to reintroduce the RLF machineries’ product line to Southeastern Michigan. To this end, I expanded the Southeastern Michigan customer base and continually improved sales throughout the territory by utilizing all existing product lines. In six years, I was able to take the territory from zero sales to over 10 million dollars per anum.
4/1989 - 2/1994 Sandretto Plastic Machinery Farmington Hills/Michigan Service Engineer/ Corporate Trainer/Project Engineer As a Field Service Engineer/Corporate Trainer, I was responsible for all aspects of customer service for Sandretto Plastic Machineries, United States division. Field service at the customer location required extensive travel to all customer facilities in Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the continental United States. I was responsible for on-site machinery start-up, including the trouble shooting of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical problems, and the verification of all OSHA safety requirements. In addition to the machine start-up and operation verification, the Field Service Engineer also provided customer training.
As Sandretto's Corporate Trainer, I was responsible for the development of the customer-training program for Sandretto Machinery, US Division. These training responsibilities included the development of handouts, class organization, course development, and course implementation. My responsibilities came to include Project Engineer, which entailed coordinating the rigging and installation of various sized machinery as it arrived to the plant locations. I was directly responsible for determination, implementation, and verification of engineering modifications as well as automatic mold change tables and robotics. I was also directly responsibility for the final quality control verification and documentation via 24-hour continuous machine operation run-off.
7/1988 - 3/1989 Signet Industries Fraser/ Michigan Maintenance Technician As a maintenance technician, I was responsible for the operation of all Thirty (30) injection-molding machines and auxiliary support equipment. My additional responsibilities included the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
3/1986 - 7/1988 Arjay Manufacturing Bad Axe/ Michigan Maintenance Technician / Supervisor As a maintenance technician and supervisor, I was responsible for the oversight of two additional maintenance men and the operation of all aspects of the injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment. My additional responsibilities included the maintenance of the facility and grounds along with the establishment of all preventative maintenance programs. I also developed and implemented the calibration procedures for all machinery and hot runner/heat control systems.
7/1984 - 3/1986 MAYCO Plastics Sterling Heights/ Michigan Maintenance Man As a maintenance man, I was responsible for the operation of all injection molding machinery disciplines, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic component repair. Additionally, I was responsible for the maintenance of all auxiliary support equipment, towers, chillers, mold temperature controllers and material conveying and drying equipment. While employed at MAYCO Plastics, I was able to teach myself how to red hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic prints.
