· Established, implemented, maintains, monitors, and updates the Quality and Environmental Management System, document control for internal & external documents, standards, record control, and aid in developing retention periods and disposal methods.
· Develop personnel as appropriate within the quality dept., identify training needs, train, supervise, and assign duties for quality supervisor and inspectors for two shifts ensuring completion of all departmental duties.
· Complete performance & training evaluations.
· Lead Internal Auditor; create/conduct/review annual audit checklists, schedules, frequency and areas of internal audits. Develop internal auditing training programs, and train internal auditors.
· Acting Safety Coordinator; coordinate the emergency response team, scheduling/conducting/documenting quarterly safety meetings & annual test (in Part) of the emergency preparedness and response procedures, post MSDS, and create and/or procure safety training materials.
· Coordinate and lead continuous improvement, corrective actions, problem solving.
· Answer and maintain contact with customer/interested parties, as necessary, regarding complaints/concerns/issues, and in participate in customer/potential customer surveys.
· Schedule, prepare presentation, conduct, and document quarterly management review meetings, and ensure distribution of meeting minutes/post charts as appropriate.
· Track, chart and report during management review; internal & external audit status, internal & external communication (including complaints, concerns, and issues), continuous improvement and corrective/preventive action status, the cost of quality, customer satisfaction & perception, design & development monitoring, PPM summaries, and update training matrix.
· Complete design verifications; review prototypes for form, fit, and function, to design criteria and customer needs.
· Complete product testing, in-House and customer driven First Article Reviews.
· Participate in APQP Meetings, complete PPAP submissions, and aid in the creation of FMEAS, Control Plans, and Flow Charts.
· Developed and monitors the calibration program.
