Responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance to the regulations set forth by the four governing regulatory agencies. In charge of the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and training programs for staff. Key team member in the development and modification process to this new innovated company.
Oak Haven of Charleston Assisted Living Residence Charleston, SC (October 2004 - March 2006)
Executive Director. Served as the Certified Residential Care Facilities Administrator of a 123 bed privately owned Assisted Living Facility. Primary duties included hiring and managing a staff of 75 employees and the development and implement in-service training sessions for employees. Monitored the medical, custodial, and social needs of the residents while serving as the liaison in communicating with their health professionals and their responsible parties. Responsible for establishing and updating policies, procedures, and preparedness plans for multi-event emergencies. Monitored departmental budgets to ensure adherence. Developed, coordinated, and participated in special events, routine marketing, and the development of relationships with potential residents. Ensured compliance with regulations set forth by the monitoring regulatory agency for South Carolina. Focus was on quality improvement to enhance the overall wellbeing and comfort of the residents.
