Knowledge of CPT,ICD-9 diagnoses codes, revenue codes, DRGs and HCPCs codes, familiar with CMS-1500 and UB991 claim forms, know how to verify insurance benefit and calculate co-pays, co-insurance, and deductible, know steps to following up on claim status with insurance carriers per age analysis report, knowledge of medical terminology.
