· Test and repair telecommunications and information technology hardware, software, and circuits in products from JPS Communications.
· Maintain strong working knowledge that encompasses a wide variety of products available to Raytheon customers.
· Maintain knowledge of test fixtures and industry standards.
· Participate in Raytheon’s Six Sigma Program with current achievement level of Specialist.
· Draft data sheets and engineering procedures regarding product software and hardware issues.

· Repair and increase the durability of test fixtures undergoing the rigors of continuous use in the manufacturing area.
· Product expertise focuses on communications equipment emphasizing “interoperability” for federal and state government applications and Department of Homeland Security.
· Daily projects deal with VOIP, DSP, RF and other forms of digital and analog circuitry applications.
· Collaborate with project engineering teams on strategies for streamlining and eliminating unnecessary and/or repetitive steps in the testing process.
· Observe and provide constructive feedback focusing on productivity, quality, training, and recognition for successful project completions.
· Support inventory controls, vendor relations and equipment maintenance.
· Operate with careful attention to safety protocols.
