Objective:
I am looking for a job with a newspaper or magazine that would focus on reporting. I am also interested in a copy-editing job. My initial goal is to break into the industry so I can build a base for future jobs, and also make enough money to pay off student loans.

• I am a licensed soccer referee in Massachusetts. I have reffed across the state for boys and girls, with age groups ranging from under 8's to under 19s.
• I have reffed both indoors and outdoors.
• I have learned a lot in my years as a referee. I deal with children, parents, and coaches, and each game provides different scenarios and situations. Games at the higher age levels are intense with lots of emotions flowing, and I have learned to work and keep situations in control in my years as a referee.

• Responsibilities included managing the front-end at all times during the week and dealing with customers on a regular basis. I also responsible for making sure prices were correct on a weekly basis, making price changes physically and in the store computer, and making sure all items in the store had proper tags and signs.

Skills:
I am currently an assistant front-end manager at Trucchi's Supermarkets. I assist both the front-end manager in supervising and managing cashiers and service clerks, and oversee the daily activities of the store. I also assist the store manager in ensuring that prices, signs, tags, etc. are correct, and continually make sure the store is operating correctly on the mid-management level. My degree is in print journalism, and I have taken many classes with current and former journalists.
