Additional Information:
I have the ability to flourish in ANY work environment. I bring many invaluable characteristics to the table such as punctuality, multi-tasking and organization, top-notch written communication, proven analytical skills, excellent background in mathematics when dealing with numbers and formulas.

There is a learning curve in EVERY new job; I have the ability to minimize what needs to be taught and retained because of my meticulous nature, attention to detail, competitiveness, dedication to completing an objective, as well as being a team player. In the long run, how can you even put a price on such invaluable traits and characteristics in an employee? Personally, if I had to choose between two or more candidates for a particular job, I would rather hire the candidate (regardless of experience) that most exhibits a “can do” attitude, or goes about problem-solving in such a way that he or she will accomplish the goal or complete the given task at hand, no matter what.

Many employees don’t seem to have that “DRIVE”, or willingness to succeed (ethically of course) by “doing whatever it takes” to meet a common goal.

In my current position with PBGC, I consistently demonstrate the ability to complete given tasks on time by making “to do” lists and using other methods of multi-tasking. I am required to frequently complete short notice work assignments while handling my normal workload. This usually includes building data bases, sending out benefit determination letters, re-calculating annuity and lump sum payments based on future benefit start dates, and preparing benefit statements.

As a 401(k) administrator with Stanley Associates, Inc., I was responsible for making sure the internal audit team was supplied with all necessary detailed financial and benefit information (with respect to the 401(k) plan) in order to complete their analysis of the plan. I coordinated and supplied vital company information for testing and daily valuation purposes to the three individual Trusts that served as the record keepers of our plans.

As a Senior Specialist with Towers Perrin, I was handpicked to calculate multiple pension calculations for retiring senior level executives. I headed up a major calculation project for a major division of the client that was closing; therefore, all terminating participants required 401(k) and pension calculations and instructions. I personally conducted formal training sessions on pension calculations, formulas and all of it’s components. I audited fellow team members’ and newly trained employees’ calculations and maintained extra projects in addition to my normal workload, getting 100% of pension calculations out on time.
