Additional Information: I have been working in the recreational skating industry for the past 8 years. I have worked my way up from a Birthday Hostess to General Manager. I started on this path because my ultimate goal was to work for a professional hockey team. Through the years, various positions in different areas of the country have been presented to me and I have taken them. Moving to new areas has helped me to be a better person and allowed me to understand hockey and how it is different from New York to California. I have also acquired exceptional people skills due to these moves, as I have had to make new friends and ease into new employment environments. I currently hold a position as Hockey Director in Sacramento, CA. Though my work environment is pleasant and I have had growth in my youth and adult programs, I would like to return to a General Manager position, as I find it is more challenging and, therefore, rewarding.
