Supervise preventative maintenance programs and monitor daily log of activities. Prepare weekly production and related reports and initiate supply and maintenance requisitions. Responsible for maintaining an efficient, safe, reliable and economical operation of the HVAC systems and associated equipment and buildings. Perform proper and timely preventative and corrective maintenance to equipment; making adjustments and repairs to equipment and systems to ensure efficient operation during an assigned watch or tour. Assist in, or perform the handling of emergency or abnormal operations necessary for maintaining HVAC equipment in service or returning to service when shutdown for maintenance repairs. U.S. General Services Admin, Washington, DC 1989-1998 Utility System Repair Operator (WG-8) Perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Make adjustments and repairs to equipment and component parts of hearting and air-conditioning systems. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections of equipment and perform the following tasks: oiling and greasing of equipment, testing for refrigerant leaks, proper functioning of controls, determining load balance, observing and testing for correct operation of all parts of the refrigerant cycle and other factors contributing to the proper and efficient operation of the heating and air conditioning systems.
