• Assist in the proposal negotiations process for each project. Prepare and scheduling secession to prepare for final negotiations. Preparing all documentation for proposal to be awarded.
• Set up budget accounts once an award has been granted or contract has been signed, administer the expenditure of funds, ensuring that funds are expended according to the projects.
• Review budget justification to ensure it relates to budgeted dollars. Confirm that all anticipated cost and fees are calculated into cost of project. Ensures compliance with GSA regulations and restrictions. Confer with appropriate internal and external administrative offices to ensure that required procedures are followed.
• Provide instruction and answers questions relating to budget procedures and serve as liaison between the business office and unit areas. Identifies budget issues, provides alternative solutions, and resolves problems.

Accounts Payable Specialist
World Wide Network Services, Washington DC

• Provide purchase orders with vendor invoices or route to appropriate department for approval. Code and process invoices for proper scheduling and processing of unique and recurring payments.
• Responsible for checking invoices approvals and preparing daily batches for input into Cost point.
• Process employee expense reports. Assist in resolving all accounts on hold, past due, ect. Handle all vendor disputes and accounts payable inquiries (vendor or internal). Maintain superior relations with all vendors.

• Reviewing all documents, including conditions of contract, technical specifications, render evaluation reports. Support tax reporting needs for the payables process. i.e. I-9, and 1099’s.
