Objective: To find a Senior credit, collection, accounts receivable position. I have over 35 years of credit management background and experience.
Experience: I have over 35 years of credit management background and experience. Experience includes large scale credit decision making, restructuring credit operations, cash flow analysis and forecasting, help in the design of on-line systems, risk management including corporate insurance, productivity improvement, as well as providing superior customer service both domestic and international. I have had responsibility for an account base of over 80,000 customers with annual operating revenue of approximately $2 Billion. DIRECTOR OF CREDIT for Unisource Worldwide, Inc. I have formulated and implemented credit, collection and accounts receivable policies and procedures including budgeting, cash flow forecasting and improvement, generation of credit performance goals (by Collector including daily progress reports), establishment of credit lines, legal documentation, internal reporting, risk management and have provided superior customer service. Exceptional record of success in understanding and working with all company functions in achieving corporate objectives and enhancing communications. Oversees a 20 State area with direct management of 7 Regional Credit Managers and 36 credit, collection, and administrative support people. As Director of Credit for Unisource, dramatically improved performance in my area of responsibility to the top performing credit regions in all Unisource Worldwide. The major improvement in performance was primarily achieved by working closely with the entire sales force to insure they fully understood the importance of “Cash Flow” management as well as providing meaningful reports and new innovative tools to both credit and sales departments which highlighted high risk and other problem areas.
