Experience: Full time Care-Giver Ann Barabos (Mother-In_Law) in at Home January 1996 to March 2006 In between outside employment, I was the primary care-giver for my Mother-In-Law. Prior to losing her legs i took care of anything she needed me to do to help save her feet and legs. She is a Diabetic, Double amputee, Legally blind woman (can see some) with Congestive Heart Failure. My responsibilities ranged depending how well she was or was not able to care for herself at different times. She is Wheelchair dependant. I was responsible with transporting her to doctor appts, aiding in her basic care, and dispensing her correct medications (as per Doctor orders. At the times she was sick, i would be responsible for the care required for bed-ridden people, including oxygen when it was needed. She has improved since and moved to her daughter's home in March. Inventory, Collater Kastle Kreations in 241 Raritan Ave. South Amboy, NJ 08879 August 2005 to December 2006 This was a quick paced fund-raising company. Once I was shown what needed to be done and how, I caught on quickly. When someone needed something I knew where to find it. I was fast and dependable in my work duties. ICS to Foods Department Manager Walmart in Route 9 Sough Old Bridge, NJ October 2004 to April 2005 When i was first hired i worked for the ICS department. As a member of the ICS team we were in control of getting the inventory onto the shelves as well as helping other department managers when needed. I put my Best efforts foward, and 3 months later was asked to apply for a Department Manager position. (Company policy is 6 months.) I was quite honored to be asked. I applied and recieved the Foods Department Manager position. As Department Manager it was my job to make sure my department was neat, clean and kept well stocked. There were always changes in the shelving modulars to be done. We worked as teams to get them done on time. We used a telzon for ordering needed items. It was also my responsibility to speak with the vendors to help them with any questons they had requarding where to place their merchandise. I learned that a person never stops learning.
Volunteer EMT Cheesquake Volunteer First Aid Squad in Route 34, Matawan, NJ 07734 (Present employment) This is Volunteer Work, riding on an ambulance to the scenes needed. It is rewarding at times. It is a fast paced environment when calls are recieved. I am still a bit new to this field, but like very much meeting and helping new people and their familes in need.
