Experience:
Site Manager Lockheed Martin in Groton, CT April 1995 to February 2006 • Worked closely with the customer: Navy • Responsible for 38 full scale training devices, 120 Electronic Classrooms and Front Panel Simulators and a Fire Fighting Trainer. • Managed 55 technicians, with various job classifications over three shifts • Maintained an overall 98% operability/trainabilty factor for all trainers on the Groton Naval Submarine Base. • Implemented cross-training for all personnel for all training devices, thus creating a more versatile workforce. • Developed and implemented safety programs in accordance with current OSHA standards. • Functional responsibilities include: Customer Service, Management, ESH training in accordance with OSHA standards, Employee Training (ethics, diversity, company compliance, safety, cross-training), Inventory Control (software, hardware, parts research, technical manuals), Reports/Reviews (using Word, Excel, Power Point),Basic HR (hiring, training, counseling, evaluation, termination). • Hold a DoD Secret clearance. Electronics Tech/ Maintenance Supervisor Technology Applications in Newport RI March 1987 to November 1992 • Accomplished modifications to 800 electronic valves to correct a problem in the wiring racks to the 19E22 Propulsion Plant Trainer; thousands of wires would overheat and melt when a relay would become bad. • Modified various electronic boards to accomodate an upgrade of the burner mockups in the Fire Room of the 19E22 Propulsion Plant trainer. • Night-shift Supervisor responsible for accomplishing "Daily Operational Tests" on all simulators to ensure all were "Ready for Training" for the Navy in the morning.
