Objective: OBJECTIVE
To be a Supervisor/Chief Technologist of PET_CT / PET / Nuclear Medicine in a recognized hospital having a PET_CT / PET / Nuclear Medicine Departments, where an enthusiastic, highly skilled person able to train and work with others in Gamma Camera / PET / PET_CT use would be needed.
Experience: SUMMARY
A highly motivated PET_CT / PET / Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET_CT / PET / Gamma Camera use, program development and protocol making in the Switzerland, United Arab Emirates as well as in developing countries. Expertise in quite a few computing languages. A talent for analyzing problems, developing and simplifying procedures, and finding practical solutions. Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with persons from different cultural and educational backgrounds. Skilled in working with a foreign environment with limited resources. Energetic, self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational and managerial skills. Additional knowledge of operating Open MRI Hitachi Airis II and Siemens SOMATOM CT Scanner (Dual Slice) for 6 months.
SELECTED SKILLS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
PET_CT & PET Technology: 7 months Intensive training at PET Center, Zurich University hospital, Switzerland, where I learned Patient’s scheduling, patient’s preparation, daily, weekly & monthly QC of PET Advance & PET_CT Discovery LS cameras & computers, Acquisitions, processing, displaying, archiving, network transferring of huge varieties of Clinical & Research studies which includes use of F18 -(FDG, Memantine,), O15-(H2O), N13-(NH3, Racloprid, Flumazenil, B-CPPIT, MCN5652, Acetate) etc. & learned how Anatomical & Molecular Biological images gets fussed.
Assisting the General Electric Co. set up gamma cameras and computers at leading hospitals. This involved 3 different gamma cameras being set up: • GE 400 XCT • GE 4000 XCT • GE 4000 XRT Conducting highly successful orientation and staff training programmes in Nuclear Medicine at two leading hospitals in India and the United Arab Emirates. Over the last 15 years, this has included the training of Doctors, Technicians, Nurses, and Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Radiography students and an IAEA sponsored Technologist from Ghana. Creating and developing of numerous acquisition/processing/displaying protocols for use within Nuclear Medicine Departments for the last 15 years on General Electric computers (mentor language). Personal Consulting for hospitals seeking to set up a Nuclear Medicine Department. A preliminary report and recommendations were given. It is likely that, these recommendations will be adopted in the very near future.
