Objective: At this point in my career, I am seeking a top-level retail sales or general manager position where I can continue to impact marketing, revenue, and profitability in a new industry. Experience: Director of Retail Sales/General Manager and New Brand Implementation Specialist with more than 10 years of multi-unit consumer product experience in developing and implementing new business initiatives, formulating strategic marketing plans, and exceeding revenue performance targets for Pepsi Bottling Group.
Sales management and CRM acumen gained over the past 10+ years encompasses:
¨ Identified cost saving labor strategies that merged workforce groups across 2 locations within a 12 month time frame, which proved instrumental in delivering labor costs ranked as #1 and #2 in the region as well as in the top 5 in the U.S.
¨ Created and implemented a regional launch strategy for a new soft drink brand that resulted in the brand achieving 34.5% above volume projection and $2.4 million in additional revenue while building to 10% above shared goals in the first year.
¨ Established a cost savings program in procurement that pinpointed areas of improvement with vendors, suppliers, internal/external delivery methods, and shipping charges. This program saved $200,000 in freight costs while generating $280,000 in discounts on bulk purchases over 3 years.
Received 26 sales awards that included “Southeast General Manager of the Year” and coached 5 territory sales managers who were ranked #1 in the region in the last 5 years.
