Objective:
A position as Emergency Medical Technician. EMT License (National and State of Florida). Accurate, reliable, diligent and focused on the timely, quality completion of all EMT procedures. Work well under pressure.
Experience:
- Over 100 hours of EMT / Paramedic internship, Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Department.
- Over 100 hours in ER internship (Miami Children Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Palmetto Hospital, Hollywood Memorial Hospital/Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital). Assist clinical staff in caring for emergency room patients. IV therapy, dropping blood, lifting/moving patients, performing CPR and assessing patient vital signs. Extensive knowledge of medical equipment and supplies and their proper use. Maintain nursing station supplies.
- CPR certificate.

Education:
- January 2, 2006 to Present: Florida Medical Technical Institute (FMTI), Miami, Florida / Paramedic School.
- September 2005 to December 2005: Emergency Medical Technician Training School (EMTT), Miami Lakes, FL. / Successfully completed national standard curriculum for EMT-B course.
- From September 2003 to August 2005: Miami-Dade College / Fifty five credits for Associates in Science.
