Main responsibility: * Designing, developing and improving Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) application/simulator. I worked as Project manager, lead developer/ designer of PRV. PRV is a network application which uses an Oracle, SQL Server or Access database. Database was design to enhance high performance and efficiency. I designed PRV such that customer can connect to central database or work with local database. * Working with different consultants and clients to improve PRV application, thermodynamics engine. Worked closely with flash/Thermo experts. Most of these consultants are PhD in Chemical Engineering with more than 20 years of experience. * Developed an equipment server, which can connect to client equipment database. During this time, I developed a custom ADODB Connection/Recordset object to implement Zerget Patent. * Designed and developed plug and play thermodynamic database system that can be used for all applications of EPCON. The database was design to hold thermodynamics data of components such as physical properties, binary interactions parameters for SRKKD, SRK and NRTL. * Deploying applications to the client company and provided technical supports on PRV and THERMA. Responsibility also includes developing the licensing strategy, developing installation of the application and generating scripts for the database. * Designing strategies to integrate all these simulators together to create a final product for chemical process simulation. * Designed a THERMA application, which runs flashes using SRKKD or NRTL. * Developed advanced feature to APITECH application for API (American Petroleum Institute). Integrated THERMA with APITECH. * Developed Custom simulators for specific clients. * Developed advanced feature for GPA (Gas Processing Association). * Resolved Patent conflicts with competitors’ application.
