Objective: A position as an Telecom Engineer providing the opportunity to make a strong contribution to organizational goals through continued development of professional skills.
Experience: Engineer Trainee, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre,India. Data Acquisition and Control System: Study of intelligent transmitting instruments connected as a distributed DACS.Communication of these instruments with PC working as operator interface using RS-485 standard. Developed software for data acquisition and graphic user interface in VB 6.0.Design, fabrication , testing & Deployment of the hardware incorporating the features developed as above for actual networking of the Smart Instruments installed in an operational Process Plant for Control of Process parameters.
Academic Projects: Random Signals and Noise: Dr. Venkat Devarajan Simulation of the various concepts of random signals and noise and generation of the ergodic random sequences using MATLAB: involved generation of random variables, generation of Gaussian random variables, plotting joint density functions of uniform random variables, simulation of autoregressive processes. Wireless Communication System: Dr. Qilian Liang System level design for a mobile satellite-based wireless user terminal using block phase estimation algorithm in MATLAB: designing a simulation reference system for the given general packet data channel subject to rician flat channel fading and design a demodulator for such a flat fading channel using QPSK Modulation.
Semiconductor Device Theory: Prof. Ronald L. Carter Simulation and design of CMOS transistor modeling: Documentation of static current-voltage characteristics of a given CMOS transistor model. PSPICE used to simulate the designed CMOS and plot its current-voltage characteristics.
Digital Signal Processing: Dr. Michael T.Manry Simulation of concepts of Digital Signal Processing using MATLAB. Radio Frequency Circuit Design: Dr. Allan W. Davis Designed an Amplifier using large signal spice model and software’s Libra, Harmonica, ADS: Designing an amplifier for a given bias point, gain and noise figure. Steps involved extraction of the S parameters of the amplifier, stabilizing it, optimizing it to obtain the desired gain and noise figure, harmonic analysis and transient analysis. Digital Communications: Dr. Qilian Liang Design a digital communication system: Designed a physical layer simulation reference system for a digital communication system, a fixed wireless local area network (WLAN). Advanced Wireless Communications: Dr. Qilian Liang Design a PPM-TH-UWB Physical Layer Communication System: Designed a PPM-TH-UWB physical layer simulation reference system for a short distance indoor impulse radio communication system. VHDL: Prof. Mike Zhu Traffic Light Controller: VHDL design and implementation of a finite state machine based traffic light controller model.
