Responsible for administration of HP3000 MPE/iX development and production systems in a 24x7 manufacturing and production environment. Duties included hardware and software maintenance and upgrades, evaluation and recommendation of new software systems. Enhanced current production and operational procedures to minimize production downtime. Investigated, evaluated and developed backup and disaster recovery strategies for the HP3000 environment.
