Objective:
Obtain a radiologic technologist position in which I can use my years of experience and knowledge. It is important to me to have a position in which there are opportunities to grow, learn, and still have fun on the job.


Experience:
R.T. R, M, CT I have many years of varied experience in radiology. In the past, I worked in private clinics, hospitals and as an application specialist for a manufacturer of radiographic equipment. In addition, I have held both staff and supervisory positions. My strongest qualities are that I communicate well with all staff, am hard working, reliable, flexible, and able to make decisions using my critical thinking skills. In addition, I work well both independently and as a team player; this is while prioritizing the well-being of the patient. It is important to me to keep abreast of the latest technology by reading and being involved in that technology if possible.

Evaluate books, manuscripts, videos, CDs and live lecture materials relating to all areas of imaging to assure information is correct, current and meets the CE standards as defined by the ARRT.

February 2002- May 2004: Relief CT tech at Albuquerque Regional Medical Center and Lovelace Hospital

July 2000-February 2002: CT Supervisor, St Joseph’s Medical Center, Albuquerque, NM
Perform all types of CT scans, order supplies, perform payroll functions, maintain employee schedule and keep open communication between radiologists and the CT Department.

September 1999-July 2000: Presbyterian Hospital Downtown Albuquerque, NM Staff CT Technologist: part-time various shifts and then full time as graveyard technologist working solo.

January 1990-February 1999: Palm Drive Hospital, Sebastopol, California: started as staff technologist in diagnostic radiology and evolved into special procedures, mammography, DEXA technologist and CT Supervisor, in addition I filled in as department director when necessary.
