Objective:
Work with children and teach Pre-k and prepare children for Kindergarten. I currently am attending Rio Hondo College to obtain my AA and also to obtain a Credential for Director of a PreSchool.
Experience:
I worked 3 yrs with The City Of Santa Fe Springs as a aide while going to school and obtained a Assoc. Teacher Permit. I also worked at private school in Downey. Taught 2, 3, and 4 yr old children. Also worked with school-age children before/after school care and had summer program with school age. I also gave tours to new parents interested in applying for care, also did office work for director, filled in for director when she was not in. I helped with Student Teachers in implementing the curriculum and helped out where needed.
Education:
Graduated from High School in 1978. I attended 2 yrs. at Cerritos College and obtained Assoc. Permit for Teaching. I am currently attending Rio Hondo College to obtain AA which I am 6 units away from and also taking a class for Director of Preschools.
